These three types of potting adhesives can be subdivided into hundreds of different products.



1. SILICONE POTTING

Silicone potting is a kind of electronic potting polymer made of silicone rubber, including one-component silicone potting adhesive and two-component silicone potting adhesive, AYAAON provides two components only.

Silicone potting is generally soft and elastic, and there are many types. Different types of silicone potting have great differences in temperature resistance, waterproof performance, insulation performance, optical performance, adhesion performance to different materials, and soft hardness.


2. EPOXY RESIN POTTING

Epoxy resin potting is generally composed of bisphenol A epoxy resin, curing agent (amine or anhydride), reinforcing agent and filler. It has a long curing time at room temperature and can be cured by heating. After curing, the adhesive strength is high and the hardness is relatively high. It can be made into a transparent potting adhesive for packaging electrical modules and diodes. For the two-component potting adhesive, the use method is basically the same, ingredients -- mixing -- vacuuming -- potting. Two component potting equipment can be used to simplify the whole operation process, save operation time and reduce waste of raw materials.


3. POLYURETHANE POTTING

Polyurethane potting, also known as PU potting adhesive, is mainly composed of polyphenyl diisocyanate and polyether polyol, which are crosslinked and cured in the presence of a catalyst (triethylenediamine) to form a polymer. Hardness can be changed by adjusting the content of diisocyanate and polyether polyol; It overcomes the common disadvantages of brittle epoxy resin, low strength and poor adhesion of silicone resin, and has excellent water resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance, acid and alkali resistance, high and low temperature impact resistance, moisture resistance, environmental protection, and high cost performance; Especially for the leakage of lithium-ion batteries, polyurethane potting adhesive shows strong resistance to electrolyte corrosion.
